Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! Each year brings new opportunities for learning, growth, and connection, and I could not be prouder to begin this new school year journey with you.

As we continue to build on our Vision of a Lakewood Ranger—fostering character, curiosity, and resilience in every student—we do so with a growth mindset and a clear sense of purpose. This vision guides everything we do, reminding us that education is not just about academic success, but also about nurturing the whole child and preparing them to thrive in a complex and changing world.

This year’s theme, “Lakewood Strong,” is more than a motto. It’s a reminder of our collective strength, our shared commitment, and the impact we make together. Whether in classrooms, on the stage, on the field, or in the community, Lakewood Strong reflects the spirit that unites us all in supporting our students.

I want to thank you for your partnership and support as we work together to create an environment where every student feels safe, valued, and inspired to achieve their best. I am confident that with our dedicated staff, supportive families, and amazing students, we are set for another outstanding year in Lakewood City Schools.
