District Awarded Elementary STEM Grant

Congratulations to our elementary STEM team on landing a $7,200 grant from GPD Employees' Foundation! The grant, written by STEM teacher Jackie Gallik, will allow the District to purchase Clixo Movement bundles that help all K-5 learners, including our special education classrooms, participate fully in hands-on STEM. The bundles will help support diverse strengths, sensory needs, and creative problem-solving in every school. Students who benefit from sensory input can use Clixo for calming and regulation. Those who struggle with fine motor coordination can manipulate the pieces with success.
