Rotary Honors Our Top Career-Tech Students
On April 7, The Rotary Club of Lakewood and Rocky River hosted its 27th annual West Shore Career-Technical District Outstanding Student Awards at their weekly luncheon. Fifteen students were honored for their dedication, leadership, and accomplishments in their respective career-technical programs.
Each award recipient is automatically nominated for the Career-Technical Student of the Year award, which will be announced later in the school year at the annual Career Passport Assembly.
West Shore Career-Technical District encompasses Bay Village, Lakewood, Rocky River, and Westlake high schools. WSCT serves more than 400 students in its programs.
The 2024-25 Outstanding Student Award recipients are:
- Automotive Technology: Titus McAlvey, Lakewood

- Community-Based Program, Gordon Food Service: Harper Washio, Rocky River
- Community-Based Program, O'Neill Healthcare: Andi Sadiku, Rocky River
- Construction Trades: Gary Pandos, Lakewood
- Culinary Arts: Brynn Wolfgram, Lakewood
- Electronic Engineering Technology: Ameera Westbrooks, Lakewood
- Media Art & Design: Olive Rodemann, Lakewood
- Medical Professions: Naya Fayad, Lakewood
- Networking & Cybersecurity: Danari Woods, Westlake
- Nursing Foundations: Zayna Muntaser, Lakewood
- Project Lead the Way - Engineering: James Gollon, Lakewood
