Third Quarter Math

This quarter students will read, write and count numbers to 750.  They will skip count by 5s, 10s and 100s and compare two- and three-digit numbers.  Students will add and subtract 3 –digit numbers with regrouping and fluently add and subtract within 15.  They will use number lines to represent whole numbers, sums and differences.  Students will estimate lengths and use various tools to measure and compare lengths.  They will solve word problems using mixed combinations of money.  Second graders will draw pictures and bar graphs to represent data.  They will recognize and draw shapes with specific attributes.
