Founded in 1952, The Lakewood Council of PTAs represents all PTA/PTSA schools serving over 1300 members within the Lakewood City Schools district.

We provide assistance and encouragement to local PTA/PTSA members, provide leadership development through workshops and programs for members and the community, promote membership, and give service to the local school community by developing coalitions with other organizations and agencies concerned with the health, welfare, and education of children and youth.

Our Mission

"To make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families
and communities to advocate for all children."
