Preschool Grant Information
An Early Childhood Education (ECE) grant is available to help families pay for high-quality preschool programs.
Who may be eligible?
- Children ages 3-5 who are not age-eligible for kindergarten.
- Economically disadvantaged children whose family income falls at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.
- Children with disabilities attending public preschool.
- Children placed in foster or kinship care.
- Families experiencing homelessness.
If you believe your child may qualify for free or reduced preschool, please apply for an ECE scholarship through Ohio Benefits at https://benefits.ohio.gov
When applying, please be sure to select Child Care Assistance. To choose a Lakewood ECE program, please use the appropriate license number listed below.
