Lakewood City Schools students will benefit from two grants awarded Nov. 17 by the Three Arches Foundation to organizations that provide mental health services and support for our students. A grant of $122,000 over two years to the Cleveland Clinic Foundation will pay for the continuation of employment of the District mental health navigator. The position is dedicated to filling a growing and critical need by helping students across the District obtain access to mental and behavioral health care, including mental health assessment, care coordination and caregiver support.

Our students will also benefit from a two-year $217,582 grant awarded to Bellefaire JCB. The grant allows Bellefaire JCB to continue provide behavioral health consultation and trauma-informed prevention services to our students through its school-based counseling program.

The third grant is to Ohio Guidestone for $72,800 to support extensive behavioral health wraparound services for students, families and staff at some of
elementary schools.

Three Arches Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity that invests in advancing the health and well-being of the people of Lakewood and surrounding communities through grantmaking. For more information, visit
