Parent Resources for Remote Learning



Tuesday, March 17

Staff to report as normal. No students

Our buildings will be open for students and parents from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in order for families to pick up any personal belongings your student may need during the extended closure. If you are unable to pick up your student’s belongings during this time, please contact your building principal for an appointment. Parents of 4th and 5th grade students will be able to sign-out a Chromebook at this time if you do not have a device at home. If parents are unable to pick up a device at this time, please contact the Technology Department at 216-529-4088 to arrange a time to pick up a device.

Our teachers will update their records and prepare for the extended school closing while our custodial team will continue to aggressively deep clean our schools, classrooms, bathrooms, cafeterias, etc.

March 18 - March 20

Teachers/principals will communicate with students/families regarding remote learning.

Meal distribution begins for students in the free and reduced lunch program from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Lakewood High School, Garfield and Harding middle schools. Both breakfast and lunch meals will be distributed during this time.

March 23-27 - Spring Break

No instruction. Meal distribution will continue to take place during Spring Break.

March 30-April 3

Remote instruction to begin. Meal distribution 11 am - noon at LHS, Garfield and Harding.

*Should the school closure period be extended, this plan will be updated and shared accordingly.
