PTA Hosting "Screenagers" Documentary Viewing

The Lakewood Council of PTAs is hosting a screening of filmmaker Delaney Ruston' documentary, "Screenagers" on Monday, November 11 at 7 pm in the Civic Auditorium. "Screenagers" addresses the most pervasive parenting issue of our time head on— depicting teen struggles over social media, video games and internet addiction. The film empowers kids to best navigate the digital world and provides practical resources to help them do it. This film is recommended for students age 10 and over. It lasts 60 minutes and there will be a Q&A afterward.

We welcome you to watch the parade, but unfortunately cannot host everyone in the classrooms.

Children who are participating will bring school-appropriate costumes in a bag clearly labeled with his/her name. Students also need to leave masks and weapon-like accessories at home as well as anything that is so integral to the costume that they would be heartbroken if lost or left at school.
