Teacher appreciation   Teach Appreciation Week!

National Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week is next week, May 3-7, 2021.  Please join Lincoln's PTA to show our thanks to all those who work at Lincoln during this different year. Each day we will be doing something different for the staff and faculty at Lincoln Elementary.

Join us for the next PTA meeting: Tuesday, May 11, at 7 p.m. in person at the school.

***We vote on new board members and are looking for volunteers for next year. Check out available positions here:

Fifth Annual Lincoln Fun Run

Date: May 22
Time: 1 p.m.
Location: Kaufmann Park (and virtual)

Registration and Shirts:

Download the Fun Run Registration/Pledge/Shirt Order Form here.

Fun Run 20-21 shirt design• In order to guarantee a shirt in a specific size for your child (and yourself), your initial $20 pledge (per shirt) is due Friday, April 28. We are buying a smattering of extra shirts in random sizes but the only way to lock in the size you want is to order by the deadline.

• If you or another adult wants a shirt, turn in a separate $20 pledge form for yourself.

• Pledges can be turned in anytime--the April 28 deadline is simply to reserve a shirt.

• To participate in the virtual Fun Run, fill out the registration form and circle that option. A form will be sent to you closer to event day.

• The shirt is gray with the image shown. The shirts run a tad small so ordering a size up is recommended.

• Sponsors Needed!
• We are seeking $100 sponsors for this event; companies, families and individuals are welcome. Download the form here. Sponsors who submit their form and payment by April 28 will be listed on the back of the Fun Run shirt (name only, no logo).

• Sponsors who also want a shirt must indicate that on the form (and add $20).

Raffle Baskets:

• Each grade level has the opportunity to help fill a basket to be raffled off at the Fun Run. Whether you are have an e-learner, remote learner, or in-person learner, you can help fill a basket! Learn more here.

• Travel NORTH on Lakeland, turning into the drive nearest Clifton (pull as far up as possible to allow more cars in the drive)
• Exit onto Summit (turning left or right is permitted).

Please follow this procedure to help us get you through quickly AND to keep our children safe. We had everyone trained over the last two years and were able to run 125 cars through the line in 15 minutes--we'd like to repeat that here!
