Principal's Message

Sabrina Crawford

Greetings Harrison Families,

Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year.  Last school year was definitely filled with some uncertainty on many levels, but we survived thanks to our community leaders, school personnel, and of course our families.  We are so thankful for the support and flexibility demonstrated by our families in our district. Know that Lakewood City Schools continues to be committed to providing an exciting and engaging learning experience for all students, while keeping safety as a priority.  We are excited to have our students back in the buildings to start the school year and look forward to a wonderful school year with the students and you as our partners.

Our district continues to focus on our competencies that were established with input from all stakeholders two years ago.  The competencies represent the Vision of a Lakewood Graduate and are embedded in the work that we do with students on a daily basis.  Collaboration, communication, growth mindset, global awareness, empathy, and critical and creative thinking skills represent our six core competencies that will continue to be encompassed in our work with students this school year. Our district is also engaging in DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) and SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) work that we hope will also further enhance our learning experiences in the district.

We are looking forward to reconnecting with all of our families as well as welcoming and establishing relationships with our new families. Thank you again for your continued support and the flexibility demonstrated.  Feel free to contact the school office should you have any questions at 216-529-4230 Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. I can also be contacted via email as well at
