LAKEWOOD STUDENTS EXCEL AT REGIONAL SCIENCE FAIR

Fourteen students from Lakewood High and Harding Middle School participated in the Northeast Ohio Science and Engineering Fair at Cleveland State March 15-18 and all 14 came away with recognition from the judges, including a first place by freshman Hannah Kiraly in biology. Christian Styles - 2nd place - how the amount of water in a water bottle rocket affects the altitude of the rocket flight.

Eli Zettler -2nd place - which produce has more bacteria, bagged or loose.

Zach Moran2nd place - air pressure and how it is affected by temperature. 

Psychology
Jade Borocz - Honorable Mention - The Stroop Effect

Special Recognition
George Harkenrider from the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers for his project on aerodynamics of different shapes which he tested in a mini wind tunnel that he built.
