On Jan. 31, the Best Buy Geek Squad will come to Harding Middle School to challenge the Harding staff in a basketball game to support Harding's attendance incentive program.  As part of the program, the Best Buy Geek Squad will raffle off three Kindle Fire HD tablets during half-time to students who have had excellent attendance during the 2nd quarter.

In previous years, the Best Buy Geek Squad shared their time with Lakewood High School, but began working with Harding Middle School and Garfield Middle School this year. Matt Romance, General Manager of the North Olmsted Best Buy said, “We had to find a unique way to help support our local schools, while enhancing the learning experience.  The partnership with that we've created with Harding and Garfield helps foster development, and creates a culture of excellence."

Staff members at Harding are also ready to put on a show for the students as they prepare for their big game. Teri Knapp, Physical Education teacher at Harding said, “I think this is a great way for the students to see their teachers get out there and play but it also shows them that good attendance is important if they want to participate in fun activities at school.”

Thank you to Best Buy of North Olmsted and the Geek Squad for dedicating time to help Harding students understand the importance of good attendance.

Go Rangers!
