Memorial Day Recognition Program
The new flag is raised. A solemn, respectful ceremony The stars burn. The panel of stars is the last to be placed on the fire. Mr. Costello assists the students with the cutting. The student body watches on as the old flag burns. Stripes were placed on the fire one by one. Members of Boy Scout Troops 68 and 115 and Girl Scout Troop 70013 cut the stripes of the flag for burning. The old flag is carried to the ball field for proper disposal.
