Room 002 Week of April 7 through 11

Thanks to everyone who attended the Spring Concert and Open House!  It was so nice to see everyone. Here are the topics that we are focusing on as we enter into the fourth quarter.

Writing- Our focus in Writer’s Workshop this quarter is the Research-Based argument essay.  The students are writing a persuasive essay on whether the school should keep chocolate milk in the cafeteria.

Math-We continue to study Geometry.

Science-   We are studying motion. 

Homework Folder- There is a writing homework for Monday night.  There is a reading page to read and answer the questions.

Reminders –

Malley’s orders go home on Monday.

The D.A.R.E. basketball tournament is this Saturday at 1:00 p.m.  Come cheer Joshua, Ryan, Ethan, Jalyn, D.J. and Jameelah on.  There is also a performance by the D.A.R.E. dance team which includes Syliver, Ruth, Alanni and Megan.

There is a Scholastic Book Fair in the LRC this week until Thursday.  The books are buy one get one free!
