The Leader in Me

In line with Lincoln’s new motto:  Learn. Lead. Succeed. we are excited to begin working toward The Leader in Me philosophies in our school. The goal of the goal is to help students understand that they all have the essential qualities to become leaders. The Leader In Me also helps to create a common language within a school by teaching students the following habits:

  • Habit 1:  Be Proactive     You are in Charge
  • Habit 2:  Begin With the End in Mind        Have a Plan
  • Habit 3:  Put First Things First           Work First, Then Play
  • Habit 4:  Think Win-Win         Everyone Can Win
  • Habit 5:  Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood         Listen Before You Talk
  • Habit 6:  Synergize             Together is Better
  • Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw           Balance Feels Best

You will hear more about The Leader in Me as the school year progresses.

Project MORE

Do you have 30 minutes to spare to help a struggling reader?

Project MORE is a mentoring program designed to help students become better readers.  High achievement in reading translates to higher success in all subject areas-and in life!

All materials, including scripts, will be provided for you. We can work around your schedule and can use you for as little as 30 minutes per week.

Please email Mrs. Kozelka (sandra.kozelka@lakewoodcityschools.org) or call the school office (216-529-4232) for more information.

Lincoln Leaders

Lincoln: Learn. Lead. Succeed.

Here at Lincoln, we are growing leaders...one child at a time.  Not everyone wants to be in front the crowd as a leader, but everyone is a leader of their own actions.

This year, we welcome you to join us on our journey to infuse leadership characteristics in our daily actions and lessons.
