ONE BOOK ONE SCHOOL CELEBRATION @ ROOSEVELT

On Friday, Roosevelt students and staff celebrated the finish of its One Book One School reading initiative complete with the St. Ed's Trash Talkers, Chomps from the Browns and even a bike giveaway! It was a great way to wrap up the school year and get everyone excited about reading over the summer, starting with the book, Summer According to Humphrey, which each student was given at the end of the assembly. Check out the fun in this Photo Gallery.

Recognition Assembly

Join us on May 26th at 2 pm as we recognize students in curricular and extra curricular groups-typically our older students- and congratulate our 5th graders as they leave elementary school!

DATES SET FOR ELEMENTARY BUILDINGS' DEDICATIONS

Save the dates! The community is invited to join the Lakewood City Schools in celebrating the opening of our new elementary schools at dedication ceremonies to be held at 6 pm on the following dates:
Tuesday, August 16: Grant Elementary
Wednesday, August 17: Lincoln Elementary
Thursday, August 18: Roosevelt Elementary

The buildings will be open to tour immediately following each school’s dedication ceremony. Come share in the pride and appreciation of this milestone accomplishment for our community!
