With the changing weather, tuning will be an issue. Students can finger silently or air bow or both. All concert songs have been passed out in a blue folder. Plus, all concert songs can be found under "Pages' (to the left). Many songs can be listened to on my website! You can check with area music stores but be advised: some actually charge to tune ($10-15). Really loose strings (aka spaghetti) results when contraction from cold causes strings to 'let go'. If all four loosen extremely, the bridge can come down. No worries! We put them up all the time. Have students bring their instruments carefully back & forth to school. Please do not leave in a cold car, or put next to a radiator at home. Extremes can cause tuning to go way out.
Please note: Students and or parents attempting tuning has resulted in broken strings.
If you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to email me. Thank you.
